The stone of the farmhouse buildings blends in with the typical colours of Tuscany and the blue waters of the swimming pool, all surrounded by the green Maremma hills. For a lazy, gentle and relaxing start to the day, breakfast at Il Belvedere is a slow and appetizing ritual, celebrated with traditional sweet treats and tasty jams. We use only natural, fresh and authentic ingredients for the sweets prepared every day according to “Grandma’s recipes”: apple pie, carrot and walnut cake, chocolate cake, fruit tarts and pastries, and shortbread biscuits. Sweet things are our passion. Baking cakes and biscuits relaxes us and we are always looking for new ideas. There is also fresh bread, milk, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, cold meats and eggs. We also provide all the ingredients for guests to make their own juice. Let us know about any special requirements or intolerances when you make your booking and we will do our best to accommodate them. Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and is included in the room price, while for the apartments there is an extra charge.
Every week we organize a traditional Maremma dinner with almost exclusively locally-sourced products, as well as tastings of our own oil, wine and liqueurs, and fun activities for our guests. The dinner can be booked directly at reception for an additional charge.
Il Belvedere Holiday Farm produces extra virgin olive oil and wine, which are available for tasting and purchase, and can be shipped directly to your home.
Our spaces are ideal for small ceremonies and “green” events such as weddings, baptisms, communions and birthdays. Simple and minimalist events organised with care and using local products, so that your special day is respectful of nature and the environment.
The 16 x 8m seasonal outdoor swimming pool (June-September) is surrounded by olive trees in a quiet location, where you can relax on the sun loungers provided after a refreshing dip.
With telescopic cover, this hot water swim spa is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, with hydrotherapy and swimming against the current, whatever the outdoor temperature.
Guests have access to a multi-purpose natural grass sports area with football goals and volleyball net, an archery range, table football, pool table and table tennis table.
There is a green area for children, designed for them to play in complete safety.
Parking is free at the property in the designated parking area.
The surrounding area is ideal for all types of cycling, with paths through forests, along simple unpaved roads or asphalted roads will low traffic, and with a variety of gradients. Whether you love cycling alone or in company, Il Belvedere Holiday Farm is an excellent starting point. We use Bike Service in Massa Marittima to provide services to cycling enthusiasts.
This is a special event for groups of people on foot, on horseback or mountain bike that takes place one day a year during a full moon, this year scheduled for 24 July 2021.
Pets are not allowed.

How to reach us
From the E80/SS1, exit at Gavorrano Scalo and take Provincial Road 49 “dell’Accesa” in the direction of Massa Marittima. At the roundabout take the first exit and follow Regional Road 439 “Sarzanese” for 6 km until you reach the property on the right.
Coming from Livorno, from the E80/SS1, exit at Follonica Est and take Regional Road 439 “Sarzanese” for 18 km until you reach the property on the right.
From Florence, take the Firenze-Siena motorway and exit at Colle Val d’Elsa Sud. Continue along Provincial Road 541 “Traversa Maremmana” until Capannino della Sughera. Here turn right onto the Provincial Road “Galleraie” and then continue on the Provincial Road “Pavone”. From here take Regional Road 439 “Sarzanese”, and you’ll find the property on your left past Pian dei Mucini.
